Maybe you’ve been going to the gym regularly this year, maybe not, or maybe you would like a piece of equipment that won’t require you to put an addition on to your home or have it become a laundry hanger.
Sometimes we just want to have a piece of equipment that isn’t big, isn’t boring and doesn’t take up too much room and can actually be fun. I have used the mini trampoline or rebounder as they are also called for over fifteen years. In fact, I liked the one I had at home so much that I bought one for the office.
After researching them and having ones I didn’t like at all or didn’t last, I bought this one, Jump Sport mini trampoline about ten years ago because it had great reviews and I knew I still liked using a rebounder, I just didn’t like the first one I had.
I try to use them every day if I can for even just a few minutes and longer if I can. Sometimes I’ll put an educational video on, tv show or music and jump for ten minutes. There are various moves you can do as well to make the jumping more intense.
Here are the reasons I like the Jump Sport mini trampoline so much and why I wouldn’t buy another brand:
- It’s made of alloy steel and very strong bungee cords.
- It has a very strong jumping surface.
- I’ve had ones that have been made of springs that broke, this one doesn’t have springs.
- It’s very quiet. The ones with springs were very squeaky after a while
- It’s very stable with six legs.
- I’ve never had one break or have the ropes snap.
If you don’t have any other exercise equipment, then I would spend my money on a rebounder and specifically The Jump Sport mini trampoline.

Even with a little bouncing, say a few minutes, you will see results. Just do it consistently.
Work up to longer times just as you would when you start any new exercise routine or use equipment for the first time.
If you’re just starting out you can do what’s called a “health bounce” which is basically just bouncing up and down on the rebounder without lifting your feet. If you need more stability use the bar that comes with some models as it will keep you from falling.
There are various ways to use a rebounder to maximize strength and endurance.
You can also do an aerobic workout on it by jumping, running in place, leg kicks and twisting. There are a variety of moves to try out.
There is also a type of bouncing that involves jumping very high for a longer time. This really gets the heart rate up, moves the lymph and builds muscle. You will want to gradually work towards this type of workout.
Here are some other great things about the Jump Sport mini trampoline:
- It’s easy to use.
- It’s fast to set up. You just have to take it out of your closet if storing it or just keep it on the floor if you have room.
- It’s fun to jump. If you put a show or video on the time goes fast and before you know it you’ve been on it for a good amount of time.
- I have owned a few other pieces of equipment and over time I got bored with them and they took up too much room. I never get bored with the rebounder and it doesn’t take up that much room compared to other pieces of work out equipment.
- I have belonged to fitness gyms and I never see them there. Maybe some have them, but I haven’t seen them.
- You can use it with a bar that is in front of you for greater stability.
- You can jump on the rebounder with weights if you want to intensify the workout.
- Use it when you need a break from sitting at your desk. It’s so important to get up often and move around and jumping on the rebounder is a great way to get a quick couple of minute recharge.
What I don’t like about it:
- That I can’t fold it up into a small piece and take it with or store it under a piece of furniture. And that’s it. Otherwise I think it’s great.
In conclusion, the reason I like the Jump sport mini trampoline is because it hasn’t failed me. It is a comfortable, quiet and stable rebounder. The benefits of rebounding are enormous.
